There are several sources of news and information for students on campus:
Engage
Engage is your way to connect with Pomona and 5C clubs and organizations. It has a list of organizations; a 5C calendar of events for all student clubs and organizations; a personalized way to track your co-curricular involvement and out-of-classroom learning while at Pomona, including a co-curricular transcript function; and online event registration for student events. Learn more about Engage or visit https://my.pomona.edu/ics to log in.
The Student Life
The Student Life is the oldest college newspaper in Southern California. It is written and managed by students, and published weekly by the Associated Students of Pomona College (ASPC) for The Claremont Colleges. Read The Student Life here.
Chirps!
The Pomona College “Chirps!” (formerly known as Digester) is a student e-mail system created to prevent overburdening the Pomona network and/or student mailboxes with numerous individual e-mails. The “Chirps!” system compiles student messages daily and distributes them to students as a single e-mail message. Messages are compiled and distributed at 10 a.m. “Chirps!” is not intended as a forum for general campus discussion and every effort is made to ensure that it is not used in that fashion. The purpose of “Chirps!” is to efficiently distribute event information and other specific announcements. Anonymous messages will not be posted.
Submit your message online by using the Chirps submission form. Information submitted at the above website is approved for posting by the Campus Center staff. All entries must comply with the College’s Publicity Guidelines. Questions regarding the use of “Chirps!” can be addressed to the Dean of Campus Life.
