Senior Claire Mueller's Psychology Class Paper Published as Opinion Piece in Lincoln Journal Star
Claire Mueller '13 had her opinion piece, "Local View: Anti-Binge ads have opposite effect," published in The Lincoln Journal Star, on Dec. 10. She wrote the piece for her Social Psychology class with Prof. Adam Pearson, who gave the class the option to write a more traditional research paper or an op-ed piece focused on disseminating new social psychological research findings. Mueller is a pre-med major from Lincoln, Nebraska.
Two other students in Pearson's class published editorials in The Student Life: Stassja Sichko '15 defended the idea of grades at Pomona from a research perspective and Arianna Sanchez '14 wrote on sportsmanship.
