Conference and Event Planning oversees the rental of College facilities
(e.g., classrooms, dorms, dining halls, etc.) to faculty and
staff for personal functions (e.g., weddings, receptions,
etc.) and outside groups when school is not in session.
Following is a summary of the policies which apply to the
use of College facilities:
- Windows of availability are the first two weeks of
January, Spring Break, mid-May through mid-August and Fall
Break.
- The following facilities are available to rent for
personal reasons by faculty, staff, students, alumni and
their children only: Bridges Hall of Music (wedding
ceremonies), Edmunds Ballroom, Sontag Greek Theatre.
- Frank and Frary Dining Halls are available to rent to the
public for wedding receptions, parties, etc., during the
summer months only. Groups are required to use Pomona
College Catering and charges include food, linen, china,
five hours of service and room rental.
- Conferences must be educational in nature. Conferences not
using dorm rooms may book space during the mid-May through
mid-August timeframe. Dorm rooms may be booked mid-June
through the end of July.
For rental requests, call (909) 621-8373 Monday through
Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and Noon
September-April, and 8:00 am to 4:30 pm May to August.
After hours, weekends and emergencies, please call Campus
Safety at (909) 607-2000.
