Nicole Weekes, an expert in
neuropsychological functioning, focuses her
research on the effects of biological sex, handedness, stress, hormone levels, differences
in hemispheric specialization, and memory functioning. The most recent subject of her work
is whether individuals who are under higher levels of stress or who have higher levels of
stress hormones have greater damage to particular regions of the brain.
