Pomona College Charitable Giving Campaign
The annual Pomona College Charitable Giving Campaign is an opportunity for the college's faculty and staff to come together and have an impact on the neighborhood around us. In past years, our faculty and staff have generously supported local organizations and charities, and made a difference in the lives of many. Faculty and staff support the Campaign and give generously for a variety of reasons. Some are responding to the increasing need for assisting the most vulnerable in society and for serving those less fortunate. Others see these local organizations as performing crucial public service and consider supporting them a civic duty and responsibility.
Gifts to local charities through the Charitable Giving Campaign help to break the cycle of addiction; to build decent and affordable homes; to give shoes to children; to provide shelter, safety and support for battered women and their children; to educate families in healthcare; to train hospice volunteers; to provide additional resources for Claremont Schools; and to care for abused and abandoned animals.
We hope you will participate this year by making a tax-deductible gift to the Campaign to help any, or all of the following worthy organizations that may hold a special place in your heart.
- Be Perfect Foundation
- Claremont After-School Programs (CLASP)
- Inland Empire United Way
- Inland Hospice Volunteers
- Claremont Educational Foundation
- Inland Valley Humane Society
- Foothill AIDS Project
- Planned Parenthood Los Angeles
- Fremont Academy of Engineering & Design
- Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity
- House of Ruth
- Shoes That Fit
