Mission: To help children enhance their academic, organizational, and social skills by providing quality after-school programs in Claremont Unified School District neighborhoods. In its five neighborhood centers, CLASP provides safe, fun, friendly, and supportive settings for academically at-risk children from all of Claremont's elementary schools so that they may gain the academic guidance and personal mentoring they need to be successful in school and in life.
The programs offer homework help and tutoring, recreational activities, healthy snacks, field trips, family meetings, and celebrations. For children at two centers, transportation is also provided from school to center to home.
CLASP is a nonprofit, nonsectarian organization that collaborates with the City of Claremont and Claremont Unified School District as well as local businesses, nonprofits, and regional foundations. Local individual donors contribute 20% of CLASP's budget.

The Claremont Educational Foundation is a non-profit organization, founded in 1991, which serves as a funding partner to the Claremont Unified School District. Through a variety of fundraising efforts, CEF has been able to help maintain art & music instruction in the elementary schools, and technology advancements in both the middle and high school. It is through the generosity of our donors that CEF is able to maintain the educational experience we have come to expect in Claremont. A member of the California Consortium of Education Foundations, the Board of Directors is composed of business and community leaders, parents and district staff who together carry out the mission of CEF, "To protect and enrich quality public education in Claremont".
The mission of Foothill AIDS Project (FAP) is to improve the lives of those affected by or at risk for HIV/AIDS through comprehensive medical case management and support services; to help prevent HIV infection though education and outreach; and to provide housing services to all people at risk of homelessness in our service area, an expansive territory of nearly 20,000 square miles that encompasses diverse urban, suburban, and rural desert communities. Throughout much of this region, FAP is one of the only service options for people in need. In 1987, the year of its founding, FAP provided food, transportation, and housing assistance to 60 people in need. Today, FAP serves more than 1,500 men, women, and youth in three counties: San Bernardino, Riverside, and Los Angeles.

Fremont is a diverse school serving approximately 603 students in 7th through 9th grades. 52% of students are English Language Learners. Special education students comprise 11% of our total population, and 94.5% of students qualify as low income through participation in the National School Lunch Program. Fremont serves a population that is 89.8% Hispanic, 3.9% Asian American, 3.9% African American, 1.7% White and 0.4% Filipino.
Fremont Middle School has become Fremont Academy of Engineering and Design, providing a new focus on learning that is project-based, cross-curricular, and based on students working together to solve problems. This year, Fremont Academy has added 9th grade. In each subsequent year, the Fremont Academy of Engineering and Design will add an additional grade level until Fremont is a 7-12 grade school. The first high school graduates of the Fremont Academy of Engineering and Design will be the Class of 2014.

House of Ruth's mission is to advocate for and assist women victimized by domestic violence and children exposed to violence in transforming their lives by providing culturally competent shelter, programs, opportunities and education; and to contribute to social change through intervention, education, prevention programs and community awareness. House of Ruth serves the areas of eastern Los Angeles County and western San Bernardino County.
Our scope of services is broad. Trained personnel operate a 24-hour Hotline to provide crisis intervention, information, and referrals. We have a two-phase residential program that includes our Emergency and Transitional Shelters. Through our Outreach Centers in Pomona, Montclair and Rancho Cucamonga, non-residential clients receive counseling, case management services, medical and legal advocacy, and housing/career/educational assistance. We staff Temporary Restraining Order Clinics at two area courthouses. Our Community Education Program brings presentations to thousands of community members each year.

Inland Empire United Way (IEUW) is committed to improving the lives and futures of children and families in need by investing in Education, Health, and Financial Stability. By partnering with a network of local nonprofit organizations and operating several internal programs, United Way delivers critical services to our community, connects individuals in crisis with needed resources through 2-1-1, and increases the power of local charities by providing dedicated Volunteers. For over 30 years the Inland Hospice Association has provided programs which offer reliable, professional & comprehensive care & volunteer support to the frail and elderly and those who are in the midst of life's changing experiences. Supportive services are also offered to their family members and caregivers. Our skilled team of caring professionals and trained volunteers work together to offer assistance, comfort and education through a variety of programs which include case management, medical equipment loan services, bereavement counseling, and patient caregiver support services.
All of Inland Hospice Association's services are provided free of charge to its clients, their family members and other caregivers.
Inland Hospice Association direct program services are available to persons in the following Eastern Los Angeles County and Western San Bernardino County communities: Pomona, Ontario, Montclair, La Verne, San Dimas, Glendora, Guasti, Diamond Bar, Walnut, Claremont, Chino, Chino Hills, Alta Loma, Upland and Rancho Cucamonga. The major focus of all Inland Hospice's programs is to help eradicate senior isolation and loneliness where apparent and/or to support the entire family as they grow together while learning about caring for a loved one.

The Inland Valley Humane Society & S.P.C.A. is a private, non-profit organization. We provide animal care and control services to the cities of Chino, Chino Hills, Claremont, Diamond Bar, Glendora, La Habra, La Verne, Monrovia, Montclair, Ontario, Pomona, San Dimas and the unincorporated areas of San Bernardino including West End, San Antonio Heights and Mt. Baldy.
Funding is provided through animal control contracts with the cities we service and through donations: corporate and private. We provide a variety of services, including: Animal Foster Care, Animal Sheltering, Adoption, Wildlife Rescue/Education, Humane Education, Investigations, Inspections and Animal Advocacy, Veterinary Care Services, and Volunteer Opportunities.

The mission of Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is to provide convenient and affordable access to a comprehensive range of quality reproductive health care and sexual health information, through patient services, education and advocacy.
Planned Parenthood Los Angeles believes that women, men and teens should have access to the information and services they need to make informed and healthy decisions about sex and reproduction. Our three-pronged approach of combining reproductive health care, education programs and advocacy has been critical to our success for 45 years.
As the county's largest private provider of reproductive health care, Planned Parenthood Los Angeles serves more than 120,000 people annually through 18 health centers and a Clinic Without Walls program. We reach another 72,000 students, parents and other community members through our education programs. Planned Parenthood Los Angeles has received a four-star rating from Charity Navigator – the highest possible rating.

Pomona Valley HFH is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. The houses then are sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged.
Volunteers provide most of the labor, and individual and corporate donors provide money and materials to build Habitat houses. Partner families themselves invest hundreds of hours of labor - "sweat equity" - into building their homes and the homes of others. Their mortgage payments go into a revolving Fund for Humanity that is used to build more houses.
We proudly serve the communities of Chino, Chino Hills, Claremont, Covina, Diamond Bar, Glendora, La Puente, La Verne, Montclair, Ontario, Pomona, Rancho Cucamonga, San Dimas, Upland, Walnut and West Covina. Currently, we have new home construction projects taking place in Glendora and expect to be working in Covina by next spring.

The mission of Shoes That Fit is to provide new shoes to children in need for school. We help children in need by providing them with new shoes and clothes so that they can attend school in comfort and with dignity. New clothing items that are appropriate for school help these children fit in, allowing them to concentrate on their studies rather than their circumstances.
Today, the employees at our national headquarters in Claremont, California manage volunteer coordinators nationwide who run programs in hundreds of schools across the U.S. We provide items through over 1,200 elementary schools in 35 states. To date, more than 860,000 new pairs of shoes and clothing items have been delivered directly to schoolchildren in need. In each of the past 3 years, over 100,000 items were provided to children in need through Shoes That Fit.

The mission of The Be Perfect Foundation is to restore hope, expand knowledge, and advance personal independence through a holistic, exercise-based approach to spinal cord injury recovery.
The Be Perfect Foundation is a non-profit foundation that was started in 2009 by the Hargrave family of Claremont. The Foundation supports other spinal cord injury victims at the Project Walk program at the Claremont Club who do not have the financial means to support or continue in this program.
