The Sagehen Career Connection is a searchable, online database comprised of Alumni and Parent Career Advisors.  This special group of alumni and parents have agreed to share their professional and educational knowledge and experience with students and alumni.

The Sagehen Career Connection provides a valuable opportunity to contact alumni and/or Pomona parents in an effort to learn more about career fields and positions, explore career and graduate/professional school options, find out what alumni with your major have gone on to do, and much more.

If you would like to explore this online database and this is your first time contacting Alumni/Parent Career Advisors using the Sagehen Career Connection, be sure to read "Tips for Contacting Alumni" and "Informational Interviewing" as well as the introduction on the database search page before calling or e-mailing.

To access the Sagehen Career Connection and add this valuable resource to your Alumni Portal Homepage:

• Log in to your Alumni Portal page.  (If you have not done so already, you will need to get your alumni username and password from the Alumni Relations office in order to access the Alumni Portal. You can contact them at alumni@pomona.edu or by calling 909-621-8110.)
• After accessing your Alumni Portal page, click on "Personalize," then "Page Portlets."
• Next, click on "Sagehen Career Connection" in the Available Portlets window, then click on one of the right arrows to add it to either the left or right column of your Alumni Portal homepage. (You can then use the up/down arrows on the right side of the screen to resort your columns if you wish.)
• When you're done, click on the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the screen, then the "Return to your homepage" link. The Sagehen Career Connection will now be on your Portal homepage.
