Create a Summer Internship for a
Pomona College Student
Internships are an integral part of a college education and Pomona Alumni can
help contribute to the more practical aspect of our students’ education by
offering opportunities which expose them to challenging experiences that test
their ability on a para-professional level. Internships benefit not only
the intern, but also the sponsoring organization by allowing the sponsor to:
- complete projects that full-time staff are not able to fit in their
already packed schedules
- identify high caliber candidates for future openings
- bring new and fresh perspectives into the organization
- benefit from creative, bright and highly motivated students
Most students are available to work between late May and late August.
We are interested in full-time and part-time internships and will list both paid
and unpaid opportunities. As many students also need to earn an income
during the summer, we encourage your organization to provide compensation.
If your organization is unable to provide an hourly wage or stipend, offering
compensation such as housing assistance, travel reimbursement, or even a
flexible schedule enabling students to work at a part-time job is also helpful.
If you or your organization would like a talented and motivated Sagehen as an
intern this summer

Internship Coordinator Audrey Gustafson will contact you to follow up with your
