The Associate Dean administers a small fund to support
faculty-sponsored student travel to research conferences. The
budget for 2007-08 is $15,000. Students may apply to the
Associate Dean for partial support of travel to professional
conferences if the student is first author or second author to a
faculty member on a research presentation. Requests are
accepted throughout the year; because funding is limited, apply
early. Grants range from $200 to $800 and may be applied to
travel, room and board or registration expenses. Receipts must be
submitted within one month of travel dates. For more

attend professional conferences often comes from departmental funds.
