International Student Orientation

International students and students living abroad are invited and encouraged to participate in the New International Student Orientation program through International Place of The Claremont Colleges (I-Place). New International Student Orientation for Pomona College students will take place on Thursday and Friday, August 23 and 24, before the Pomona College orientation program begins.

All international students should fill out the New Student/Scholar form found on the New Student/Scholar Welcome Page on the I-Place website. Filling out this form will inform us of your intention to participate in New International Student Orientation, and will enable us to arrange an airport pick-up and a temporary home-stay family for you until your Pomona College residence hall move-in and Pomona College orientation begins. International Place recommends that New International Student Orientation participants make plans to arrive in Claremont on Tuesday, August 21.
