New Year’s in Australia
Dec. 29, 2005–Jan. 16, 2006
Journey to Australia with Biology Professor Jonathan Wright. Visit
Sydney with its fabulous harbor and scenic location. Continue to Uluru
(Ayers Rock) in the “Red Center” of the continent. Discover Melbourne, a
city of Victorian history and charm, and Tasmania, a unique and
unfrequented part of Australia.
Solar Eclipse Cruise
March 21–April 1, 2006
Join Astronomy and Physics Professor Alma Zook ’72 on a cruise along the
path of a total solar eclipse through the Eastern Mediterranean from
Málaga to Athens. Explore the north coast of Africa, with visits to
Tunisia and Libya, on the 114-guest Corinthian II, which will serve as a
platform for eclipse viewing off the coast of Egypt.
Spain Walking Tours
May 18–30, 2006
Explore southwestern Spain with a walking tour led by History Professor
Ken Wolf. Trace the history of the adventurers, starting with Columbus
and the towns associated with his voyages. Follow indirectly the “route
of silver,” the ancient Roman road which leads from Seville to the great
cities of Castille.
Heart of Germany

the heart of Germany by riverboat with visits to Munich and Heidelberg.
