A Commitment to Need-Based Financial Aid

Pomona College is one of a handful of institutions committed to meeting the full demonstrated need of all students who are eligible for need-based financial aid.

The Basics

• A student's financial need is determined after a careful review of each family's financial documents. We do our best to take into account each family's unique circumstances.
• For eligible students, the Offer of Financial Aid is composed of grant aid and a modest student employment allotment. While loans are available, Pomona does not use loans to meet a student's financial need.

Announcements

• Attention international applicants: Pomona College accepts the CSS Profile (School Code: 4607). However, if the CSS Profile application fee is a burden, applicants may complete the Pomona College International Financial Aid Application. Please refer to our International Student Aid webpage for more information.
• CSS Profile is now available.
• FAFSA will be available December 2024.
• Our office will be available to assist you remotely starting November 27th. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us by phone or email. Please note that the Office of Financial Aid will close at 2 p.m. on November 27th for the Thanksgiving holiday and will resume regular business hours on December 2nd.
• The last day to submit loan request and all other requirements is November 25th

Returning students who apply on time can expect to receive a financial aid notification in late June.
