Alumni Weekend: A Record Breaker! |

Thank you to all the wonderful alumni
who returned to Claremont for Alumni
Weekend 2008. Your presence added a
special energy to the College, as you
reconnected with friends, faculty and
this fabulous campus.
More than 150 events were held
throughout the weekend, including
student performances, academic
department receptions and administrative
open houses. For those who were inspired
to learn, there were regular classes
open to alumni and the fabulous
Alumni
Symposium, which featured alumni in
film. Good food and drinks were
plentiful throughout the weekend at such
events as the Alumni Vintner Wine
Tasting, All-Class Dinner and of course
the reunion class dinners on Saturday
night. For those of you who attended the
Weekend, we invite you to give us
feedback through our
online survey.
Final registrations from the weekend have been
tallied, and we are proud to announce
that with 1,430
total attendees, Alumni Weekend 2008
broke the previous attendance records of
1,428 set in 2006. A complete list of
these record-breaking alumni is

Who Came?
page.
For those of you who registered, you
should receive your class photo postcard in the
mail around the end of May, or you can
look online right now to see your
class
photo.
You are all welcome back to campus on
any Alumni Weekend, or any other weekend
or weekday for that matter, but we
especially invite you to save the date
for your next reunion: May 3-5, 2013.
(The Class of 1963's 50th Reunion will
start on Thursday, May 2, 2013). We love to see you all on campus
or at any of the scores of
alumni events
planned around the world each year!
